If one regards consulting as the vehicle of Mederi, then IT & Analytics is the motor of the company. This is where the technological research and analytic basics for our work is created. The challenges particularly lie in the need for high performance, since the specific needs of our customers require demanding solutions as well as the preparation and integration of data or the modelling and calculation of complex network structures in the health care market.
In order to strengthen our team of experienced mathematicians and computer scientists, we are looking for people who are able to write structured codes and have fun while solving complex analytic problems.

Duties in IT & Analytics
The general goal is the development of efficient algorithms. We find custom-fit solutions using individual software. Java and C++ are used as object oriented languages. Our main development platform is Linux, while MySQL is used for our Data bank system. Other tools that have been used include Nut-cluster, Qt-GUI-programming and FLEX.

Task focus

• Developing of automatic data extraction methods; processing and preparing data from the web (assembly of the semantic web).
• Developing   and implementing statistical models. The Development of data mining solutions for the analysis of large data inventories.

We oversee and guide you during your Diplom or Master thesis (computer science, mathematics, physics or other related majors). You will be given a list of topic upon request.  We also check whether your selected topic is interesting and adequate. You will also be provided support during you research.
